Kharkiv is planning the development of “green energy” and is working to attract investors. Mayor Igor Terekhov noted that Kharkiv has a very strong energy industry, despite attempts by Russians to destroy its facilities.
“There are a number of land plots at our municipal enterprises where solar panels can be placed. We consume 1 million MWh, which means that the city is a major buyer of electricity and, accordingly, an influential player in the energy market. Therefore, we are attractive for “green investments”,” Igor Terekhov stressed.
